ThinkFoodGroup named Andy Myers, MS, as wine director for José Andrés’ acclaimed family of restaurants.
Myers, a certified Master Sommelier, discovered his passion for wine nearly two decades ago while working at the renowned The Inn At Little Washington. After eight years as the Sommelier at CityZen in Washington, DC, Myers joined ThinkFoodGroup’s team, bringing an extensive knowledge of wine from regions both classic and esoteric, along with a particular passion for German Riesling and spectacular Burgundy.
Overseeing the wine programs at ThinkFoodGroup’s diverse collection of restaurants, Myers will bring his distinct perspective to each property, ensuring an engaging wine selection that complements the menu and enhances the inspired experiences. From Zaytinya’s extensive selection of Greek, Turkish and Lebanese wines to American Eats Tavern’s wine-on-tap and exclusive large format bottles of red blends from the celebrated nearby Virginia winery RdV Vineyards, Myers helms ThinkFoodGroup’s diverse and dynamic wine program.
